Berta, a 40 year old woman, is diagnosed with breast cancer. She is scared, paralized and unable to accept the reality. During the day, she tries to protect her family by saying nothing about her illness. Her life is now reduced to the diagnosis and to try to find the moment and the words to tell it to her husband, Alex.
